There are a LOT of great restaurants in the Twin Cities. Mirabelle is one of them. It is downtown Excelsior. We parked about a block in back of Mirabelle for free. That is normal for restaurants in Excelsior. Apple Days were on and the town was pack yet its a safe town and there is many places to park. Mirabelle is a large restaurant yet the service is very good and personal. We hate restaurants where the wait staff is just there to take the order. Everyone at Mirabelle was nice to us. And nice people go there. I walked back to talk to the matrede'god knows why. At the entrance was a guy that looked like KMSPs morning show host: Tom Butler. I asked if he was on KMSP Morning Show, it was Tom and he was VERY gracious. He even complimented my parrot and said, you must be a Buffet fan. So even celebrities eat there...
Mirabelle is actually three restaurants the basement restaurant is called Parlor and is nice and a smaller cafe through a secret door called Shiki a Ramen restaurant.
At Mirabelle we had bread, fried cheese curds a HUGE great Caesars and Beer Battered fried Walleye plus one glass of wine all for $73.38 we had two wines earlier for $30.
Mirabelle is a nice fairly quiet restaurant, reasonably priced and safe worth a nice Friday night. We'll go back when we are in Excelsior.
