Mill City Farmers Market
There are a handful of big and interesting Farmer Markets in the Twin Cities. The Mill City Farmers Market is one we go to often. For us it’s a 45 minute Tandem Bike ride from New Brighton. Long enough for us to deserve a donut or pastry which is not difficult to find at the Mill City Farmers Market.
If Mill City is prized for nothing else they have one of the best views in the Twin Cities. With the Guthrie on one side, the Mill City Museum on the other and on the third is possibly the best view of St Anthony Falls. It’s only open Saturday morning and starts shutting down about noon. It’s as good a reason as any to get up.
You can find all kind of things at the market from flowers to honey to fresh farm goods, art, juices and if you go early enough you can see one of the most impressive displays of Yoga in the Twin Cities.
It’s an easy drive but bring your bike hundreds of people do, it’s a great area of the city to ride.
See you next week.
