A few years ago, John Menard decided to make the investment and totally flatten their Maplewood store on the corner of 36 & 61 a few miles northeast of downtown St Paul. They did a great job. Maplewood was our third or fourth choice of Menards, so we are not regulars. But it is nice to have a full-sized store and lumberyard equivalent to other Menards. If you have a free Saturday, drive over it is a beautiful store.
