If you can make but one parade this year in the Twin Cities, Grand Old Day on St Paul's Grand Avenue the first Sunday in June should be that parade. Grand Old Day is the largest one-day festival in the Midwest and deserves to be seen.

E and I missed it once in thirty years and rain was involved. There is just not another parade in the metro to compare. Beyond the size it is on Grand Avenue, the Jewel of St Paul. The houses are absolutely incredible as the parade. Beyond that are the 80 units in the parade and the 200,000 people that attend it.
We always sit on the curb at Pascal & Grand a few block from Snelling where the parade once ended many years ago. It's a great place to park and nice trees to sit under.

You can bring the entire family. Or if you are on a date you can drink some PBR and listen to some bands. And the best thing about Grand Old Day is….. Don't COST Nuthin!
