The Excelsior Art Experience is the second great Twin City of art show of the year following the Edina Art Show the first weekend in June. With over 140 Artists in 13 different mediums it's a diverse show. The Excelsior Art Experience has been moved a couple of years ago from the park on Lake Minnetonka to downtown Excelsior. The new view is not as breathtaking but the restaurants and shopping has been a great addition.
 
Park is a bit of a problems at Excelsior with many local streets being closed to parking so be prepared to walk. Other than that it is ten minutes west of 494 on highway 7 and can be a high traffic day. It's a worthwhile trip as summer arrives.
