Tonight we are at Birch’s On The Lake in Long Lake, Mn 

The best way to describe Birch’s is that supper club on the lake when you went on vacation. It’s a classy, rustic place that you can see yourself snuggling up to a fire and having Smore’s at.

 Add to that a brewery and you have Birch’s on the lake. A night at the campground yet, sleep mosquito free in your own bed! 

The menu is very traditional with: burgers, grilled salmon BLTs, Tacos, fish, soups & salads steaks, ribs and tonight a Lobster Risotto.

 If you are looking to people watch they have their share of interesting upscale people from the west metro that clearly are well off. 

Free valet was a nice surprise 5+ miles west of 494. 

We had a grilled shrimp appetizer with about thirty tasty shrimp with butter & spices. 

I had the traditional WI fish fry done well with fries & cole slaw. That was tasty.

 E had the special lobster Risotto. It was very filling and only got through about half but it was very good. 

Though I’m sure this place is enjoyable winters if you want to have some great food and feel like you are at the Lake, no where compares to Birch’s.
