Barrio is a small plate Latin Restaurant downtown Edina at 50th & France. We went to it in June after attending the Edina Summer Art Show. As Latin Restaurants go it is very much of an upscale restaurant venue. It is a good sized restaurant that's clean and well managed.
 
We happened to have a new server employee in our area that was dropping off food we did not order and then asking for it back. We were all young once and each have our own horror stories of the first night on the new job, as is the case here. Unfortunately we thought the first screwup with chips & quaq was the chips most people get when they sit down... sorry we were eating it when the discovery was made.
 
Our waitress was very gracious and the food & wine selection was very good. The only problem is neither food or wine taste impressed us.
