Tonight we are perhaps eating at the most exotic place we have in years. Tonight's food is a LONG WAY from Scandinavia or Germany/Austria. We are eating at the only Kurdish restaurant in the Americas. It won't make our top ten but it was good. We had: Kurdish Bread with Feta cheese, tomato & cucumbers. Then a chicken, yogurt, rice basil soup. Then for entrees we had a rice dumpling filled with ground beef, spices & olive oil. And chicken & potatoes sautéed in lemon and spices served with basmati rice. All this with the music & trappings of the Middle East. Everything was tasty and interesting. While not making our top ten, Babanis is a good, interesting & unusual change of pace when you are looking for some good but different.
