Thoughout the year we will go to see field events. So in early May we attended the Twin City German Wirehaired Pointer Club Spring Hunt Test at Good Going Kennel of Baldwin WI.
Field dog events are broken into two types the competitive Field Trial where there is only one winner/class. And Hunt Tests where there is a standard to meet and everyone can wine or qualify. Hunt Tests are more for the common person.
None the less if you want to see some incredible dogs run and do their job, either are fun. Today we are at the Twin City German Wirehaired Pointer Club Spring Hunt Test.
Hunt tests as this are much more fun than field trials. People come & go all day. There is not of pointing breeds to look at.
If you want to meet some great trainers & dogs you should come on out. Jason Goodings Good Going Kennel is about an hour into WI and worth the trip.
So take a look. If you are interested in buying a pointing breed dog it's a great place to start.
